Posted : March 13, 2024 - /

The Association of Professional Healthcare Analysts (AphA) is committed to the values of respect, inclusion and dignity and strongly condemns the comments made by Frank Hester in relation to MP Diane Abbott.

An inclusive culture is where we represent the experiences and voices of the communities, at AphA we believe in a more diverse, inclusive, and fair environment and we must continue to evolve our mindset and act differently.

AphA recognises that being truly inclusive means accepting every individual is authentic, and building a culture where this is openly respected with kindness.

AphA supports the statement from The Shuri Network and Digital Health, and we regard the reported comments of Hester as both racist and misogynist.

These views have no place in our society today and AphA will always champion an inclusive environment for our members and society as a whole.

Our code of conduct https://www.aphanalysts.org/code-of-conduct/reflects our inclusive values as an association and the professional body for Data and Analytics workforce in Health and Care.
